Rebecca Parker scored a team-high 14 points and added 13 rebounds as Washington U. returned to the Final Four for the first time since 2001, defeating Puget Sound 57-48. No. 10 Mary Washington advanced to its first Final Four, knocking off No. 1 Bowdoin 63-59 at the John J. Long Center in Scranton. Playing on a neutral floor, the Eagles rallied to close the game out on a 15-3 run. It was only the second loss of the season for Bowdoin, but the fifth in six trips to the Elite Eight. They'll match up with DePauw, which led from start to finish in topping Calvin, 74-61. For the second straight day, DePauw's depth prevailed as four scored in double figures and seven tallied at least seven points. Sixth-ranked NYU kept its dream season going by beating Kean 76-64 on its home court at the Coles Center. The Purple Violets will try to win a title for the East for the first time since 1997, when they won on a buzzer-beater by Marsha Harris. Sophomore forward Jessica McEntee scored 23 of her 28 points in the second half, including 10 in a row when her team pulled away. The Purple Violets will be the highest ranked team in Springfield and will face conference rival Wash U, with whom they split in the regular season.
