The Southern Vermont men's basketball team lost 79-68 to Newbury in an Association of Division III Independents regional semifinal game at Green Mountain. Senior forward Nick Harrington, who posted a 30-30 game in January, picked up his 1,000th career board with 4:10 left in the first half. He also crossed the 1,500-point milestone with a lay-in late in the second half.

Harrington finished with a game-high 32 points and a game-best 19 rebounds. He added 26 points and 16 rebounds in Sunday's 84-60 loss to Finlandia to finish his career with 1,528 points and 1,026 boards.
