Down four with ten seconds left, No. 7 UW-Stevens Point hit two clutch 3-pointers to stun No. 25 UW-Whitewater 75-73. Jon Krull's shot with eight seconds left cut the Warhawks' lead to 73-72 and Bryan Beamish's buzzer-beater gave the Pointers the victory.
The Pointers had to foul four times in the closing seconds just to get the Warhawks to the foul line. Whitewater missed the front end of two 1-and-1s to keep Stevens Point in the game.
In other Top 10 action Wooster, Ohio Northern and St. Thomas also remained unbeaten. The Tommies used a 32-10 run in the second half to surge past Macalester 77-72. Tufts enjoyed Saturday's triple-overtime win against MIT so much it did it again tonight, this time surviving Keene State 118-109 in a game that featured 75 fouls.

In women's action No. 20 UW-Stevens Point couldn't match the men's comeback as UW-Whitewater held on for a 62-61 win. Moravian made just two of its first 21 shots but rallied before losing to No. 4 Scranton 64-57. Chelsey Barrett's late free throws helped Virginia Wesleyan to a 70-67 win against Randolph-Macon. And Manhattanville (2-5) gave Mount St. Mary just their second league loss in the history of the Skyline Conference, upsetting the Knights 61-58. More women's scores.
