The Yellowjackets shot just 20.8% from the floor and made just 11 baskets on the night as they fell to 14-1, 3-1 in the UAA. Wash U (11-4) ended the first half on a 9-0 run, getting 13 points from guard Jill Brandt and 12 from Rebecca Parker in the victory.
Although Rochester could salvage its weekend with a win at No. 11 Chicago, the loss opens the door for a significantly split decision at the top of the poll. Other top candidates include No. 3 Scranton (14-1) hosting 13-3 DeSales, while Hope (15-1) is at Albion (9-7). No. 1 Bowdoin, which lost to unbeaten Maine Maritime on Wednesday night, destroyed Connecticut College 81-28 tonight and plays Wesleyan tomorrow (10-3).

Five players scored in double figures as No. 14 Puget Sound defeated Lewis and Clark 94-88. Robert Krauel shot 7-for-12 from the floor en route to 23 points. Lewis and Clark led the majority of the second half before Puget Sound reeled off seven consecutive points to take an 82-78 lead with 3:34 left. No. 10 Whitworth defeated Willamette 79-66.
