�Athletic director Ken Schumann has announced that Jeff Thompson has resigned as Pacific head women's basketball coach and men's tennis coach.

Thompson will step aside Feb. 28.

"We thank Jeff for his work leading both the women's basketball and men's tennis programs," Schumann said. "I have appreciated his energy and service in leading both programs and wish him the best in his future endeavors."

Thompson spent four years leading the Boxers' women's basketball program, compiling a 36-52 record. The Boxers went 12-11 in his first year before compiling 8-17 marks each of the past three seasons.

A national search will begin immediately to hire a new women's basketball coach.
