Wooster advanced behind another X factor performance as point guard Brandon Johnson scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half to defeat John Carroll 83-73. Wooster trailed by as many as 10 in the first half before going on a 21-6 run.

Rhode Island College made the last time the charm against Keene State, taking a late lead and holding on for a 75-73 win.
