Eight players from Division III received invites to compete in the inaugural Collegiate Basketball Invitational, being held April 19-21 in Wadsworth, Ohio. The event, a postseason scouting showcase, includes players from Division II, Division III and the NAIA.

The tournament includes six teams of 10 players apiece. All All-Star game for the event will air on ESPNU on Saturday, April 21, including 20 players.

Illinois Wesleyan's Zach Freeman, Wooster's Tom Port, Mount St. Mary's Mike Hoyt, Baldwin-Wallace's Tori Davis, Kerry Gibson from UW-Oshkosh, Virginia Wesleyan's Brandon Adair, Otterbein's Tyler Ousley and Isaac Rosefelt of St. Thomas each made teams. The "WRH Health Systems" team includes three players: Hoyt, Davis and Gibson, while the "First Merit" team features Adair, Ousley and Rosefelt.

Games begin Thursday, April 19.
