Isaac Rosefelt scored 12 points and had seven rebounds and Tom Port shot 5-for-8 from the floor as eight Division III players took the floor Thursday in the first day of the Collegiate Basketball Invitational.
The event features players from Division III, Division II and the NAIA.
"(I'm) very impressed and not surprised by the quality of players you have here in Wadsworth today. We know there are some Devean Georges out there,” said Jerry Raddatz, who was at the event to scout for the Fort Wayne Fury. He also serves as a baseball scout for the Cincinnati Reds organization. George played at Division III Augsburg before getting drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers.
"Right now, I've got probably five or six names that certainly are good enough for me to invite into our D-League camp and be on the D-League rosters next year," said Raddatz.
