With 14 of last year's D3hoops.com women's basketball All-Americans having played their senior season, there was room for a lot of new names and faces on our 2008 preseason team.

The first team is eminently recognizable: Carroll's Crystal Hoewisch and Howard Payne's Meia Daniels at the guard spots, Millikin's Lindsay Ippel and NYU's Jessica McEntee at the forward positions and McMurry's Tarra Richardson as the center.

From there, however, you'll find a great deal of new players. What player from a 2007 playoff surprise made our list? Who is carrying the pride of the NJAC? How are the OAC and WIAC represented, if at all?
