Immaculata, which lost at Alvernia in last February's Pennsylvania Athletic Conference men's basketball championship game, got some payback Monday night as the Mighty Macs defeated the Crusaders 70-65.

Alvernia (3-3, 1-1 PAC) trailed for most of the second half and cut a 12-point gap down to four with 48 seconds left, but couldn't complete the comeback, doomed in part by a 9-for-23 effort from the free throw line.
