Last year, D3hoops.com embarked on the Tour de Tejas, a five-day trip through the Lone Star State which encompassed 10 games, 16 schools and five venues.

&&g-boxr&&Well, this time around, the Atlanta area is our target, with Piedmont, Oglethorpe, Huntingdon, LaGrange, Agnes Scott and Emory the sites. Thanks to the imagination (and some fortunate scheduling) of area coaches, D3hoops.com publisher Pat Coleman will spend Dec. 29-Jan. 2 experiencing Southern Hospitality, seeing 11 games and 22 different teams in the six venues.

You'll get a daily podcast and hear from coaches at all of the sites, plus Pat will be blogging throughout. We may get a broadcast out of him. And he'll have plenty to talk about on Hoopsville when the show returns after the new year.

It's a great way to ring in 2008. After all, when the ball drops, don't you really want it to bounce back up again?
