Carroll senior center Kim Wickert shot 11-for-15 from the field, including a buzzer-beater, to lift the Pioneers past Gustavus Adolphus 65-64.
The win put Carroll into the title game of the Surf 'N' Slam Tournament, where it will meet No. 15 UW-Stevens Point.
Wickert led Carroll (8-1) with 25 points while fellow senior Crystal Hoewisch added 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. The Pioneers trailed Gustavus 37-30 at halftime but shot 60.9 percent in the final 20 minutes to earn the come-from-behind win.

Josh Dressler broke the Pacific Lutheran men's basketball single-game scoring record on Friday, one which had stood for nearly half a century, tallying 48 points in leading the Lutes to a 115-108 double overtime win against Ramapo at the Cactus Jam tournament in Phoenix. Edgewood went on a 27-7 second-half run, but it wasn't enough as No. 10 Puget Sound remained unbeaten, winning 93-80. Keene State and Salem State advanced in Montclair State's tournament, which will be broadcast on D3hoopsNet again on Saturday, starting at 1 p.m. ET.
Hardin-Simmons' women got a buzzer beater of their own, as Mollie Brawner drained a three with 0.4 seconds left to lift the Cowgirls past Buena Vista 66-65. HSU scored the final seven points to rally for the victory.
Ripon freshman Scott Gillespie poured in 42 points in the Redhawks' 94-79 win against St. Lawrence in Daytona Beach, shooting 10-for-16 from the floor and 21-for-25 from the foul line.
