IWU tips Hanover

After a nine day break, No. 15 Illinois Wesleyan got a little extra work on Wednesday night at Hanover.

The Titans rallied from a seven point halftime deficit to force overtime where they prevailed 76-75 on a John Koschnitzky three-pointer with 3.3 seconds left. Koschnitzky also scored Illinois Wesleyan's last four points in regulation. Sean Johnson paced the Titans with 21 points while Mitchell Meyer scored 24 for the Panthers.

&&g-boxr&&No. 13 Carnegie Mellon improved to 8-0 by defeating La Roche 79-64. After six consecutive home games, the Tartans hit the road Saturday for a Top 25 showdown with No. 20 Richard Stockton. In women�s action No. 10 Simpson rolled past Muskingum 86-55 to advance to the Cruzin� Classic finals. The Storm will play No. 21 Marymount in a Thursday matinee at host Division II Nova Southeastern in Florida. Misericordia and King�s combined to shoot just 25 percent from the field (26 for 102) but the Cougars scored enough to notch their first MAC-Freedom victory, 39-34. More women�s scores.
