For the first time in more than nine years, the Team of the '90s is back on top.
UW-Platteville, which won the Division III national championship in 1991, 1995, 1998 and 1999, received 13 No. 1 votes and stands atop the latest D3hoops.com Top 25. Former No. 1 and defending national champion Wash U. lost at No. 10 Elmhurst on Saturday and slipped three spots to No. 4.

Wheaton (Ill.) remained in the No. 2 spot, picking up seven No. 1 votes. St. Thomas, at No. 3, was first on three ballots, with Wash U first on the other two.
The last time UW-Platteville was No. 1, the rest of the top 10 was Hampden-Sydney, Christopher Newport, Calvin, UW-Eau Claire, Wooster, William Paterson, Catholic, Illinois Wesleyan and Franklin and Marshall. This week those other nine teams combined for 221 points, with only IWU in the Top 25, at No. 16.
The University of Rochester remained No. 1 in the women's Top 25.
