After a short winter break, Monday brought a full night of action headlined by a showdown of ranked womens teams and the new No. 1 mens team.

After the game, Red Men coach Bosko Djurickovic said, "To use a funny analogy, for a half, it was like a good welterweight beating up on a good heavyweight. Eventually, the heavyweight gets his feet on the ground and ends up doing what hes supposed to do." The Pioneers (11-0) face tournament host St. Norbert (7-1) tomorrow night.
Piedmont (3-7) registered Monday nights most surprising win, knocking off No. 18 Centre, 82-75. The Colonels were home but the Lions looked plenty comfortable in shooting 52.8 percent from the field. Monday's men's scoreboard.
No. 13 Ursinus avenged its only loss of the season with a 75-64 win over Lebanon Valley. The Bears meet tournament host Randolph-Macon tomorrow night. No. 20 St. Mary's (Md.) picked up its second consecutive loss, falling to St. John Fisher 97-80. Courtney Nelson hit a reverse lay-up with 1.1 seconds left to lift William Paterson past Lehman, 65-64.
