Mount Union, Muhlenberg, Carthage downed

Aleisha Guiler poured in a game-high 33 points as Marietta knocked off No. 13 Mount Union 73-69.

The Purple Raiders trailed by as many as 15 points before they rallied to tie, but Guiler scored the last four points of the game to put it away.

Laura Karsten led three Thunder scorers in double figures as Wheaton (Ill.) rallied from a 14-point deficit and knocked off No. 16 Carthage 66-62, while Dickinson got 11 points in 20 minutes off the bench from Ashley Kunkle as part of a balanced effort in a 63-60 win against No. 14 Muhlenberg.

Washington and Jefferson has struggled this season but still took No. 3 Thomas More to the limit before the Saints won 58-52. Chelsea Tolliver led the way with 17 points while Nicole Dickman had 13 and 11 rebounds.

Sixth-ranked Christopher Newport held Shenandoah to just nine first-half points and went on to beat the Hornets 59-40, finishing the season sweep. Chelsie Schweers scored 25 points and has 2,275 for her career. Tiffany Patrick had a double-double as ninth-ranked Kean improved to 11-2, 3-0 in the NJAC with a 71-59 win at Rowan.

Chevena Pickard scored 20 and Danielle Duncan added 19 as Greensboro remained unbeaten and had little trouble with Meredith, winning 85-56. Wheaton (Mass.) used a 36-16 run in the second half to rally past Mount Holyoke 54-51. Tricia Sorensen scored 12 points and blocked four shots in 19 minutes off the bench as Concordia-Moorhead improved to 8-1 with a 71-45 win at Augsburg.
