Lee Jennings hit two free throws with 21 seconds left to lift John Carroll past Ohio Northern 71-70 and into the OAC semifinals.
Ohio Northern built a 14 point lead five minutes into the second half. The Polar Bears maintained their double-digit advantage until John Carroll rallied to tie the game at 63 with four minutes left. The Blue Streaks took the lead on Jennings' free throws and hung on to win. The seventh seeded Blue Streaks will play Mount Union which rolled past Capital 79-55.
York (Pa.) scored 37 points in its CAC semifinal matchup with Marymount and still won, 37-32. The Spartans and Saints combined to shoot 25 percent (22-for-89) in the lowest-scoring game in the conference's history. York (Pa.) will meet fourth-seeded Wesley since the Wolverines upset Mary Washington 54-53. Guilford beat second-seeded Bridgewater (Va.) 67-66 in the ODAC quarterfinals to give coach Stephanie Flamini a very memorable 100th career victory. The seventh-seeded Quakers face third-seeded Roanoke in the Saturday's semifinals. No. 4 Washington and Lee faces No. 1 Randolph-Macon.
Calvin and Hope will have a rubber match in the MIAA finals at VanNoord Arena. The Knights cruised past Albion 63-36 and the Flying Dutch topped Trine 66-47. Hope and Calvin split the regular season series with each winning at home.

No. 2 Whitworth defeated Pacific Lutheran 74-63 behind 30
points from Michael Taylor, while Whitman edged Lewis and Clark
79-76. Whitman is the only team to defeat Whitworth this
season.
The top seeds advanced in the CAC, OAC and WIAC tournaments. St. Mary's (Md.) rolled past Mary Washington 79-59 and Wesley held off Salisbury 75-74. John Carroll kept its drive for a third straight NCAA tournament appearance alive by beating Capital 81-74. UW-Stevens Point dumped UW-Superior 84-52 behind 22 from Louis Hurd and 17 off the bench from Jordan Giordana (video highlights), while UW-River Falls defeated UW-Platteville 69-60.
Windell Hinkson scored 39 points and hit nine 3-pointers to lead Salve Regina past top seed Anna Maria and into the Commonwealth Coast Conference finals. The Seahakws travel to Wentworth for the Saturday final. The Great Northeast Athletic Conference featured a spectacular individual performance as well, as Lamonte Thomas scored 40 points and was credited with an incredible 20 assists for Johnson and Wales in a 128-107 win against Albertus Magnus. J&W will play at St. Joseph's (Maine), which defeated Norwich 72-56.
