Rhode Island College rolled out to a 29-10 lead and never looked back as the Anchormen cruised past No. 1 MIT 68-44.

RIC survived 27 points from Mitchell Kates by only allowing 17 to the rest of the roster combined, while the Anchormen got a career-high 19 points from Tom DeCiantis and 16 from Tahrike Carterto go along with five rebounds and three steals.

"This win was completely about our players," said coach Bob Walsh. "Tahrike Carter took a leadership role this week and I just got out of their way. We defended like a championship program tonight, but the offensive end was all about them. We trusted each other and made plays."

Walsh spoke with Hoopsville's Dave McHugh after the game. Listen to the interview.

Down eight with 40 seconds to go, Ursinus cut Franklin and Marshall's lead to two but couldn't get over the hump as F&M finished off a 68-63 win. Diplomats senior forward Hayk Gyokchyan scored a game and career-high 36 points as the 11th-ranked Diplomats (5-0, 2-0 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (2-3, 1-1).

A.J. Matthews had 32 points and 23 rebounds for Farmingdale State but fouled out in regulation and SUNY-Old Westbury survived the Rams 90-88 in double overtime. Rashawn McCarthy led the Panthers with 26.
