Randolph-Macon last took a home loss on Jan. 24, 2018, when the Yellow Jackets fell to Eastern Mennonite in overtime, 70-69. More than five years later, Randolph-Macon is threatening the all-time Division III record for home wins, which is 62, a mark owned by North Park, set from Feb. 8, 1984 to Feb. 3, 1988.
R-MC defeated Shenandoah 96-41 to improve to 20-1 overall. All 14 players who got in the game found the scoring column for the No. 2 Yellow Jackets, led by freshman Keishawn Pulley Jr., who scored 16 points and had four assists in 20 minutes of action. In addition, Miles Mallory had four blocked shots to give him 251 for his career, a program and ODAC record.
Barring a schedule change, Randolph-Macon would have a chance to break the record in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, assuming the Yellow Jackets are selected to host.
