RIT head coach Bob McVean, in his 40th year at the institution and 43rd year as a head coach, won his 600th game on Tuesday, Nov. 14, as the Tigers defeated Wells, 91-64.
His 600 wins is the most in program history and third among active Division III coaches.
McVean's career includes a string of 19 consecutive winning seasons from 1991-2010, including six 20-win seasons and a trip to the NCAA Division III Sweet 16.
The win featured a career-high 32 points by senior Kenny Wilburn, who shot 15-for-19 from the floor. Wells a 13-point halftime lead down to nine points in the first two and a half minutes, but the Tigers responded with a 12-2 run to put the game back out of reach.
