In Division III basketball, "March Madness" starts in late February. There are 43 automatic qualifying bids into the 64-team NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament and 42 of those AQs are awarded to conference tournament winners.
Conference playoffs started Saturday, Feb. 22 and ran through Sunday, March 1.
