Nashua – Senior Alyssa Regan (Salem, N.H.) notched a game high 22 points on 11 of 16 shooting and added nine rebounds and junior Alycia Gervais (Windham, Conn.) added her 10th double double of the season with 10 points and a game high 16 boards as the Daniel Webster women's basketball team won for the 16th straight time with an 83-42 victory over Elms College in a New England Collegiate Conference matchup Thursday night at the Mario Vagge Gymnasium.

Sharing was the order of the evening as the Eagles (17-2, 10-0 NECC) remained tied atop the league standings with Lesley, which remained unbeaten in league play with a win over Becker Thursday.

The Eagles dished out a season high 29 assists out of 37 total field goals as seven different players notched at least one. Junior Kacie Lang (Raymond, N.H.) dished out a career high eight with a game high four steals, while junior Sarah Paternostro (Glastonbury, Conn.) added eight helpers along with 15 points, six rebounds and a season high three three-pointers.

Gervais would dish out five assists with her double double while sophomore Ariel Guzman (Yonkers, N.Y.) set up four and added five points.

Vanessa Bosques (N. Windham, Conn.) hit for 13 points to move into sole possession of fourth place on the program's all-time scoring leader boars, while Tonisha Tate (Lynn, Mass.) added 10 points and eight boards off the bench for the winners.

Erika Murphy (Torrington, Conn.) sparkled for the Blazers (6-13, 4-6 NECC) racking up 19 points, seven boards, four assists and two steals. Katie Condon (Sandy Hook, Conn.) added 10 points while Jen Normandie (Westford, Mass.) chipped in with six off the bench.

The Eagles dominated in the paint, finishing with a season high 61 rebounds (to 26 for Elms), including a season high 21 caroms on the offensive glass. DWC would scored a 52-20 advantage around the post, had 25 second-chance points to Elms' six, and shot a season-high 60-percent in the first half on the way to 49-percent on the night.

The Eagles never trailed, building a 25-4 lead over the opening 10 minutes, and held a 42-17 advantage at the break.

Elms chipped away at the deficit in the early minutes of the second, pulling within 49-27 on a Normandie layup, but Regan, Tate and Gervais would follow with layups to push the lead back to 28 (57-29) with 12 minutes left and allowed the Blazers no closer than 23 the rest of the way.

The Eagles return to action on Saturday when they visit Mitchell College for a NECC matchup tipping off at 1:00 p.m.
