JACKSON, Miss. (Feb. 25) -- Hendrix junior guard Samantha Devlin led all scorers with a season-high 21 points to go along with five rebounds and two assists as the Warriors knocked off Oglethorpe University 80-57 in Friday's first game of the SCAC Tournament.

The Warriors used a 45-24 rebounding edge to advance to SCAC Semifinal Round for the second consecutive year. Senior Christina Byler added 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals as four Warriors were in double figures on the afternoon.

Katie Weeks paced the Stormy Petrels with 11 points and three rebounds in the losing effort. Oglethorpe closes out the season with a 6-19 overall record.

Hendrix improves to 16-10 on the season and will face the #3 West seed Southwestern University on Saturday at 1 p.m. CST from the Hanger Dome on the campus of Millsaps College.
