LINCOLN, Ill. – Eureka College sophomore guard Caty Eeten (Eureka, Ill./Eureka H.S.) scored a game-high 25 points, one of 12 Red Devils to make at least one shot from the field, leading Eureka to a 99-44 non-conference win at Lincoln Christian, Wednesday night at the Laughlin Center in Lincoln, Ill.

A 3-point play from senior forward Lisa Byard (Morton, Ill./Morton H.S.) on Eureka's first possession of the game ignited a 7-0 run by the visitors in the first two minutes.  The Red Devils' lead reached double-digits at the 14:15 mark of the first half when sophomore guard Kiley Bugaieski (Tremont, Ill./Tremont H.S.) connected on her only basket of the night for a 17-7 advantage.  Eureka controlled play for the remainder of the half and used a 22-5 run over the final seven minutes before halftime to take a 63-22 lead into intermission.  Eeten scored 23 of her game-high 25 points and collected nine rebounds in the first half, while senior forward Khassandrae Brown (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria H.S./Kankakee) added 15 points in the first 20 minutes.

Eureka (5-1) started the second half on an 8-0 run behind four points from Byard.  The lead continued to grow until a 3-pointer by senior guard Lanie Viti (Streator, Ill./Woodland H.S.) gave Eureka its largest lead (97-37) with 4:16 to go in the game.

Byard joined Eeten and Brown in double-figures with 11 points.  Sophomore guard Amanda Schreck (Monmouth, Ill./Monmouth-Roseville H.S.) scored 11 points and set new career-highs with seven rebounds and six assists.  Viti's nine points tied a career-best.  Junior forward Kelli Dunne (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods H.S.) scored four points on Wednesday, the first points of her collegiate career.

The Red Devils collected 67 rebounds as a team on Wednesday, coming within three rebounds of matching the single-game school record of 70 set against Maryville during the 1995-96 season.  All 14 healthy players played at least six minutes for the Red Devils, while no Eureka starter saw the floor for more than 23 minutes.

Moriah Kirkpatrick scored 14 points to lead Lincoln Christian (1-5).  Tatiana Colclasure recorded the game's only double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.  The Red Lions shot 32 percent (17-for-54) for the game and committed 31 turnovers, the most by a Eureka opponent this season.

The Red Devils will continue non-conference action on Saturday, Dec. 17 against USCAA Silver Lake (Wis.) inside the Reagan Center at 2 p.m.
