The No. 12-ranked Tommies (13-2 overall, 11-1 MIAC) used a 36-3 advantage in bench points to pull away for a 76-41 MIAC women's basketball victory over the Wildcats (1-14, 0-12).
Carley Emery scored 13 points to lead St. Thomas, which outscored SCU 27-1 from 3-point range. UST shot 51 percent from the floor, including 9-of-22 in 3-pointers.
The Tommies, who broke to a 17-0 lead, ran their home-court winning streak to 24.
St. Thomas claimed sole possession of the MIAC lead as Gustavus lost 50-49 at home to Concordia-Moorhead. St. Thomas travels to Moorhead on Monday to face the second-place Cobbers.
Sarina Baker had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats.
