Lehman College's Amely Del Rosario has been named the CUNYAC/Army ROTC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 18th.

First at Baruch on Wednesday, Del Rosario, a Bronx native, posted a team high 19 points with four assists and matching a season high with eight steals against the Bearcats. Then on Friday hosting Hunter College at the APEX, Del Rosario struck hard the Lighting, leading Lehman with 27 points, six assists and four steals in a 74-64 win over the Hawks.

It is her second conference Player of the Week award this year. For the week, Del Rosario averaged 23 points, five assists, 3.5 rebounds and six steals. For the season, she leads the Lightning with 20.8 points per game with 4.5 assists and 3.5 steals.

Del Rosario will look to lead her team again Wednesday night as Lehman hosts the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
