Messiah closed the first half on a 19-7 run to eliminate a Christopher Newport lead and tie the game at 29-29. But that was all the No. 15 Falcons could muster. The No. 4 Lady Captains held Messiah to 4-for-26 shooting in the second half and ouscored the Falcons by an incredible 53-9 en route to the 82-38 win.

Coe rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to take a 45-43 lead at home against No. 9 Carthage with under eight minutes to go. But the Lady Reds scored the next nine points and went on to win 62-57.

UW-Eau Claire broke open a close game to knock off Division II No. 25-ranked Minnesota State-Mankato behind 24 points and 10 rebounds from Hannah Mesick. Whitworth, with 12 freshmen on its 14-player roster, scored an upset win against Westminster (Utah), ranked No. 10 in NAIA Division I. Emily Guthrie set a tournament record by draining seven three-pointers (in nine attempts) to lead all players with 21 points and grabbed a game-high seven rebounds. On Friday the Bucs beat host College of Idaho (No. 19 in NAIA D-II) and Westminster had beaten No. 4 George Fox. George Fox took down College of Idaho tonight as well.

Top-ranked Amherst won its 31st consecutive home game, defeating Clark 88-49. Indiana-South Bend knocked off Calvin 64-63 in overtime as the Knights shot just 3-for-24 from three-point range. Nebraska Wesleyan improved to 5-0, defeating Chapman 68-61.
