January 9, 2026 Cortland Wins 68-65 OT Battle vs. New Paltz in Matchup of SUNYAC Leaders CORTLAND, N.Y. – Kaeli McAnally (Islip) hit two free throws to tie the game with 11.9 seconds left in regulation and Joleen Lusk (Cherry Valley/Cherry Valley-Springfield) scored what proved to be the winning layup with 44 seconds remaining in overtime as Cortland fought past visiting New Paltz, 68-65, in a battle of the SUNYAC's top two women's basketball teams.
