December 03, 2025Conference play began across the country with No. 2 Randolph-Macon blitzing No. 8 Hampden Sydney in the ODAC, Chapman tripping No. 5 Redlands in the SCIAC, and No. 10 Illinois Wesleyan holding off Carthage in the CCIW. Elsewhere, No. 1 Trinity survived its trip across town to St. Joseph, and the Ohio Wesleyan women topped John Carroll in their Top 25 showdown. -
Saturday: 2 and whoa starts
November 08, 2025No. 8 Johns Hopkins completed an impressive weekend in Iowa by overpowering Wartburg while No. 3 UW-Oshkosh won another nailbiter and No. 23 Hope swept its WIAC foes. On the men’s side, No. 2 Randolph-Macon held off Gettysburg and Sam Grieger saved the day for UW-La Crosse again. -

December 19, 2024Malcolm Hodges (Richmond, Va./Monacan) recorded his first career double-double with 23 points & 10 rebounds, both career highs, and the Yellow Jacket defense held Elmhurst to two points in the first 9:50 as the Randolph-Macon men's basketball team posted a 71-43 victory on Thursday evening on Day 1 of the Jay Bilas Classic. -

March 03, 2023Senior Miles Mallory (Beltsville, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) recorded his 10th double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and senior Josh Talbert (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam) led all scorers with 15 points, as the top-ranked Randolph-Macon men’s basketball team opened defense of its national championship with a 73-36 victory over Wilson in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to extend its win streak to 26 games and break the NCAA Division III record for consecutive home victories with 63. -
Mbangue Leads Top-Seeded RMC Men’s Hoops past #9 FC
February 24, 2023Junior Daniel Mbangue (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) scored a career-high 25 points and registered his first double-double of the season with 11 rebounds as the second-ranked and top-seeded Randolph-Macon men’s basketball team outscored ninth-seeded Ferrum 75-61 on Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the 2023 ODAC Tournament to extend its win streak to 23 games. -
Coble, Talbert Help #2 R-MC Men’s Hoops Win at #14 GC
February 18, 2023Junior Will Coble (Charlotte, N.C./Davidson Day) hit four three-pointers for 12 points playing in his home state while senior Josh Talbert (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam) filled the stat sheet with eight points, a season-high nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals as the second-ranked Randolph-Macon men’s basketball team concluded the regular season with a 61-58 ODAC victory at No. 14 Guilford on Saturday afternoon to extend its win streak to 22 games. -

February 11, 2023Senior Josh Talbert (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam) had 16 points and four steals while senior Miles Mallory (Beltsville, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) added 14 points with nine rebounds as the second-ranked Randolph-Macon men’s basketball team defeated Roanoke 69-50 on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon to extend its win streak to 21 games and extend its home win streak to 62 games, tying the NCAA Division III record. -
Wednesday: Hope continues rivalry run
February 08, 2023Hope ran its winning streak against archrival Calvin to 16 straight, while No. 19 Baldwin Wallace hung in the OAC race and No. 20 UW-Whitewater cooled off UW-Oshkosh in women's action. On the men's side, New Jersey City upset No. 23 Rowan in spectacular fashion and No. 2 Randolph-Macon survived a scare at home from Averett. -
