March 6, 2026 Round 1 men: Cru, Presidents, Beavers, Macs The day started off with a No. 12 over a No. 7, and later a No. 13, a No. 12 and a No. 11 seed advanced in a thrilling first round of the 2026 Division III men's basketball NCAA Tournament. Add in a No. 16 seed taking its top seed to overtime, or another one holding a 10-point lead on the champs in the second half.
March 6, 2026 W&J Powers to NCAA Tournament Second Round with Victory over Mount Union, 82-77 NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Washington & Jefferson College men's basketball team (23-6) downed the Mount Union Purple Raiders (23-4) in the First Round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament, 82-77. This marks the first NCAA Tournament victory since the 1993-94 season.
February 28, 2026 Late Rally Lifts W&J over Westminster for PAC Men's Basketball Title In a tightly contested game throughout, Washington & Jefferson College outscored Westminster College 11-3 over the final 3:40 to rally for a 68-61 victory Saturday night in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Championship Game, played in front of nearly 1,200 fans at W&J's packed Salvitti Family Gymnasium.

February 24, 2026 Men’s Basketball Coasts Past Geneva to Advance to the PAC Semifinals WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College men's basketball team (20-6,12-4) won its Presidents' Athletic Conference Quarterfinal matchup against Geneva (10-16,7-9), 85-59. The win sends W&J to its fourth PAC Tournament Semifinal in the past five years. The victory also gave the Presidents its 20th win, making it the sixth time in school history the team has reached the 20-win mark, as well as the fourth time in the past five seasons.
