January 25, 2026 NYU tops No. 2 University of Chicago The New York University men's basketball team defeated its second-straight ranked opponent, beating the No. 2 ranked Maroons of the University of Chicago 89-68 in a University Athletic Association contest on Sunday, January 25, in Chicago, IL
January 23, 2026 Friday: Sweep me in St. Louis New York University swept Washington U. with a buzzer-beater on the men's side and another double-digit win for the top-ranked Violet women. Elsewhere, the Averett men found late-game magic again and Linfield head coach Casey Bunn Wilson completed a week to remember.

New York University men's basketball coach Dave Klatsky is leaving the school and leaving Division III in order to become an assistant coach at the University of Florida.
